This is a great pattern for anyone learning to knit! If you know how to cast on, cast off, knit 2 together, knit and purl, you can make this dishcloth. Have some knitting experience? Then you’ll be able to whip these up in no time.
It is knit on the diagonal, so should always turn out square regardless of the size knitting needles you use.

Size 6 US (4 mm) knitting needles
Worsted weight yarn – I always use cotton yarn for dishcloths. You can use something else if you are going to make a scarf with this pattern.
Tapestry needle – to work in the ends.
